A Modeler is required to construct computer generated models of any item required for a CG project. This can range from creatures and characters through to rigid body, mechanical objects like cars and helicopters.

o do this role, the candidate will need to:

  1. be able to think in 3D spatial terms
  2. be able to follow design reference accurately and work in a range of styles
  3. be able to create moderate to complex and organic models
  4. be able to model characters, props and environments, working to a good level of finish, if required
  5. have good drawing skills, including use of light and shadow, along with a good understanding of anatomy
  6. have a strong sense of scale, form, weight and volume
  7. have a good understanding of modelling with either Polygons or NURBS (Non-uniform rational basis spline)
  8. be able to do UV mapping
  9. have good problem-solving skills, communicate well and work as a part of a team
  10. be able to take direction and be willing to address constructive feedback
  11. be able to deliver on schedule, working calmly and efficiently under pressure
  12. show respect for the procedures and requirements of a particular studio, production or pipeline

  9. 善于解决工作中的难题,良好的沟通能力和较强的团队协精神
  10. 起到带头作用,解决建设性反馈
  11. 能够按进度完成项目,面对压力,沉着稳定、高效完成任务
  12. 尊重流程、特殊工作室需求、制作或线性流程中的需求
